Live Tweeting an Event

Today I tweeted a Live Stream between two of my favorite artists, Christian French and Quinn XCII. Christian has a show, where he brings on different artists, called Chris’s Corner. I tune into this show regularly, but I have never Live Tweeted on it. It was very interesting to have to go from just listening to the show in the background of me doing other tasks, to actually needing to listen 100% of the time and note everything that is happening. I have never seen anyone actually tweet about a live stream before. It was a very interesting experience because I now also have everything interesting that they said in the livestream on my twitter.

It was a little hard to figure out what kind of content to post on Twitter. On the livestream they were talking about their tours, albums, friends, and so much more. I felt like everything they said to each other could have been a tweet. It was difficult to figure out how to only tweet the general aspects of Chris’s Corner. On top of that, also tweeting anything that I thought would be interesting to other people as well.

If I ever did this again, I would make sure to find more hashtags that pertained to the audience that would be interested in this content. I also would tag the artists on the livestreams, and not just put their names in the tweets. Overall it was a great experience and I would do it again!
